A man is in custody after leading Pennsylvania State Police on a 10-mile chase in a stolen car on April 28.
According to state police, troopers sought to stop a silver 1994 Chevrolet pickup truck that had been involved in many traffic violations. The automobile was also reported stolen.
When the motorist refused to pull over, a chase began, culminating on Interstate 81 North when authorities utilized a PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle.
The driver reportedly refused to evacuate the truck and was subdued with a Taser.
He did not disclose any identifying information at the time of his arrest and is now referred to as “John Doe,” police said.
The suspect was brought to Dauphin County Prison and is being held without bail. The investigation is underway.
