A tragic incident is currently being investigated in Texas, where a young girl’s suicide has raised concerns about bullying. According to her mother, the girl was subjected to bullying by her classmates due to her family’s immigration status.
Jocelynn Rojo Carranza’s mother confirmed that she passed away on February 8th, at the age of 11.
Her mother revealed that her daughter had faced relentless taunting from her peers at school. These bullies not only insulted her but also made false claims about her family’s immigration status in the United States.
Jocelynn’s parents faced a distressing situation when students allegedly threatened to contact immigration services, intending to separate them from their daughter.
The mother claimed that the school was aware of the bullying incidents but failed to inform her about them.
The school district has not acknowledged whether it was aware, stating that it is unable to disclose information regarding individual students or incidents.
