The New York City Police Department is searching for a 12-year-old girl who went missing on Monday.
Janyelis Conde was last seen leaving her residence in the Bronx at around 1 p.m., officials said.
According to sources, the mother told cops that her daughter fled and never returned.
The missing person is described as a female with a light complexion and skinny body, standing 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing around 100 pounds. Conde was last seen dressed in a grey shirt, black jeans, and blue Nike sneakers.
