A 13-year-old boy was apprehended Sunday after neighbors said he was shooting ducks in a Spring neighborhood.
The incident occurred in the 21300 block of Sugarbridge Lane. Someone reported noticing the boy acting suspiciously, and police claim he had entered private land without permission.
Officials confirmed that the child used a weapon to shoot ducks in the area. He was brought in for arrest for trespassing. Authorities notified the Texas Game Warden to probe potential wildlife offenses.
The number of injured ducks and the reason for the youngster’s targeting remain unclear. The case is still under investigation.
