17-year-old Dead After Vehicle Rammed Into Trees Off Route In Maryland

In Maryland, a 17-year-old was pronounced dead after his vehicle traveled off the road and into surrounding trees.

Around 8:55 a.m., the Maryland State Police Forestville Barrack responded to a complaint of a single-vehicle crash on northbound Maryland Route 4 near Ritchie Marlboro Road.

According to officials, the driver was pronounced deceased on the scene. Officials suspect the motorist was going south when, for unclear reasons, he went off the road and into the trees.

The driver’s identity has not been disclosed at this time.

This remains an ongoing investigation.
