Two children were hurt after a pony-drawn cart hit a tractor-trailer, according to authorities.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, a 10-year-old girl was driving a pony-drawn carriage with a 7-year-old boy in the passenger seat.
The pony “became startled,” forcing the cart to collide with a tractor-trailer, according to WGAL.
The 7-year-old boy received head trauma and was brought to the hospital “due to the severity of his injuries,” according to troopers. The girl sustained minor injuries and was rushed to the hospital, according to WGAL.
According to authorities, the tractor-trailer driver was uninjured.
The pony’s condition was not disclosed, according to WGAL.
