Meridian Police have arrested two individuals in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on February 2nd.
The Meridian Police Department reported that a male victim was shot in the head in the 5600 block of Eighth Street Extension.
A twenty-three-year-old man named Montavion Mangum is facing charges of attempted murder, armed robbery, and conspiracy.
Mangum is currently being held on multiple charges, including attempted murder, armed robbery, and conspiracy. His bond amounts to $1 million for the attempted murder charge, $200,000 for the armed robbery charge, and $25,000 for the conspiracy charge.
Haylin Anderson, a twenty-one-year-old individual, is facing charges of attempted murder, armed robbery, and conspiracy.
Acting Captain Dareall Thompson mentioned that Anderson’s bond has not been set yet.
The Meridian Police Department, in collaboration with the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office and Choctaw Police Department, successfully apprehended Anderson.
