Two Pennsylvania residents were arrested late Friday night after a traffic stop on Interstate 68 discovered suspected drugs.
Trooper First Class J. L. Anglin pulled over a dark-colored Ford SUV in the Morgantown area at 11:17 p.m. on February 21.
The driver, Paul Martin Brownfield, 41, of Adah, Pennsylvania, and his passenger, Julie Ann Strosnider, 43, of Dilliner, Pennsylvania, were arrested after authorities discovered suspected methamphetamine, a large number of alprazolam pills, and a scale wrapped in plastic baggies.
The Monongalia County Sheriff’s K-9 team supported Trooper Anglin with the investigation.
Brownfield and Strosnider were charged with possession with the intent to deliver and narcotics conspiracy.
