According to authorities, more than two dozen men and women have been charged in a massive conspiracy to take over a city neighborhood through violence and intimidation in order to sell heroin.

On Tuesday, Attorney General Matthew Platkin announced 194 charges against the suspects; all of them are from New Jersey except for one individual from Brooklyn.

“This impressive list of charges, levied against 26 gang members who blatantly conducted an illicit drug operation aimed at destroying Newark families through violence and addiction, is both appropriate and significant,” Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. said.

According to officials, the “Double II — Queen Street Blood Gang” took control of a part of North 9th Street in Roseville to conduct an open-air narcotics operation.

Its members are referred to as “creepers.”

She faces 35 criminal counts, ranging from racketeering and running a drug trafficking network to money laundering and weapons violations.

Her sister, Hadiyah Sorey, 43, of Newark, is accused of first-degree racketeering and second-degree conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

The investigation discovered that the gang had several functions, with some members occupying more than one.

According to authorities, Rabiyah Sorey had supervisors, advisors, enforcers, and distributors working for her.

According to the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, the following are high-level individuals accused of participating in the Double II gang’s open-air drug market.

Gang origins in New Jersey date back to 1993

According to court filings in a different case, the Double II gang’s beginnings in New Jersey go back more than 30 years.

In 1993, two members of the Queens Street Bloods Gang from Inglewood, California, traveled to East Orange, sometimes known as “Illtown.” They spoke to other gang members in the city and encouraged them to join the Bloods.

Several East Orange gangs, including the Gutter Rats, Drama Lords, Steel Click crew, and Chain Gang, formed the Double ii gang.

Currently, they are known as the East Coast Bloods and have ties to the United Bloods Nation. Their set has expanded across New Jersey and New York.
