Three illegal aliens are accused of beating 47-year-old Aleksandre Modebadze in his own house, burglarizing him, and leaving him for dead in Los Angeles County, California, a sanctuary jurisdiction.
Illegal aliens. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has arrested and accused Paata Kochyashvili, 38; Zaza Otarashvili, 46; and Besiki Khutsishvili, 52, all from Georgia, with the murder of Aleksandre Modebadze on April 26.
According to the LAPD, the three illegal aliens broke into Modebadze’s home, tied him up, and beat him to death while burglarizing it.
The group is also suspected of turning off Modebadze’s home surveillance cameras before the brutal murder.
One of the illegal aliens had overstayed his B-2 tourist visa and was wanted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) but was never apprehended due to California’s sanctuary state policy.
The remaining two illegal aliens had been captured and released at the US-Mexico border. ICE expected one of the two to check in, but he never did.
Kochyashvili, Otarashvili, and Khutsishvili remain in LAPD custody, each with a $2 million bail.
