Pennsylvania State Police are actively seeking fresh leads in the unresolved murder case of Calvin Eugene Fichter, which took place in Great Bend Township in 2016. To encourage potential informants, the police department has announced a generous $5,000 reward for any information that can lead to an arrest in this case.
Authorities say that on November 21, 2016, troopers were called to Fichter’s residence on Cals Way. They discovered the victim, a 64-year-old man, in his upstairs bedroom with several gunshot wounds. There were no signs of forced entry, and Fichter’s handgun was missing from the house.
