There is an ongoing influx of special interest illegal aliens from Middle Eastern countries at the southwest land border.

As the caravans of migrants make their way through Mexico, there is growing concern about foreign nationals from Middle Eastern countries infiltrating Texas.

Tom Homan, the incoming border czar, revealed on X that a group of foreign nationals detained in Maverick County included seven individuals with ties to special interest groups who entered the country illegally.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security defines “special interest” aliens as noncitizens who are considered potential threats to national security.

A total of 289 individuals, who entered Eagle Pass, Texas illegally, made up the entire group. Among them, the authorities identified seven individuals from Iran as special interest aliens.

In addition, three individuals who were in the country illegally attempted to escape from being apprehended but were ultimately caught,” Homan explained. Interestingly, the authorities found two of these individuals wearing wristbands associated with a notorious cartel. The authorities managed to arrest the Mexican smuggling guide responsible for this operation and he is now facing charges related to human smuggling.”

Lt. Chris Olivarez, a spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety, revealed that Maverick County had captured an additional group of 166 individuals who had entered the country illegally. This group included five individuals from Iran and Turkey.

In addition to that, DPS agents have come across undocumented immigrants from African countries who pose a special interest. Just last month, a total of 211 individuals, including six from Mali and Angola, crossed the border at Eagle Pass.
