A family in Arizona has been missing for eleven days. Police officers are still looking for them and may have discovered an important clue. They found an SUV that the family had been driving before vanishing.

Arizona police find SUV linked to missing family

Three family members have been missing in Arizona for approximately 11 days. Police have been looking for Junghee Kim, 54, Taehee Kim, 59, and Jiyeon Lee, 33.

Their last known position was near a fatal incident involving 18 vehicles. The pile-up on I-40 near Williams resulted in a fire that lasted for more than 12 hours.

According to AZ Family, the family was touring the Grand Canyon on the day of the incident and then intended to travel to Las Vegas. A cell phone ping located their rented car approximately a mile from the crash site.

Police officials just confirmed that their rented BMW SUV with a California license plate was among the vehicles involved in the incident. They discovered it burned to a crisp, but the remains within have yet to be recognized.

Investigators report that the pile-up claimed the lives of at least two people. However, due to the destruction, the process of identifying remains necessitates rigorous investigation.

A witness claimed she saw the family at a petrol station the day before the accident and was able to dodge the giant disaster. She then saw a report about the missing family at the end of the day.

The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office has no cause to assume foul play occurred. If you have any relevant information, please contact the sheriff’s office at 928-774-4523 or Silent Witness at 929-774-6111. The report’s number is S25-00828.
