A missing man has been reunited with his family after going missing in Houston’s Eastwood area a week earlier.

Missing Houston man found safe, reunited

A family turned to local media and the community for assistance in locating Donnell Cunningham, age 60. He has been missing since June 20.

Cunningham was born with a hearing impairment. His sisters were anxious that he might be unable to hear others calling for him or speak effectively if he needed assistance.

His family and the community conducted a search for him Friday night.

Family members inform FOX 26 that Cunningham has been located safe and they have been reunited.

They say he was recovered safe on Monday on MLK Boulevard, roughly three miles from where he went missing, and transferred to a nearby hospital. His family was unaware of this at the time.

An interpreter noticed news headlines about Cunningham’s family on Friday and was able to assist them.

There are no more details available at this time.
