Police in Grandville, Michigan, are investigating a home invasion involving the theft of a stack of $2 bills and a roll of $1 coins.

Officers responded around 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, to a residence in the 4700 block of 36th Street SW. Investigators believe the break-in was targeted and say the suspect fled the scene with the stolen money.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a white male with blue eyes, dressed entirely in black. Authorities are asking anyone in the area with surveillance footage to come forward. Those with information can contact the Grandville Police Department tip line at 616-538-6110, option 2. Anonymous tips can also be submitted online to Silent Observer.
