According to Delma McEvoy, he left his family’s home on the morning of September 16 to go to Walmart but never came back. The explosion and fire occurred in an easement next to the Walmart on Spencer Highway.

According to the ex-wife, McEvoy, who was a father to three children, might have experienced a seizure as he had been having them occasionally several months ago.

The police are still investigating the cause of the incident.

According to the police, McEvoy was identified using a technique called radiography comparison. Forensic experts use this method to compare skeletal structures in ante and post-mortem images, especially in cases where only skeletal remains are present.

The police did not provide any information about how McEvoy died or the circumstances surrounding his death.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire, but they have already confirmed that McEvoy’s vehicle veered off Spencer Highway, crashed through a chain-link gate, and collided with the valve. As a result, a powerful explosion and fire ensued, forcing residents living on a neighboring street to evacuate their homes. When they were finally able to return, they were met with the aftermath of melted vehicles, damaged siding, and water damage caused by the efforts of fire crews to extinguish the flames.
