A mall security guard, who also used to be a tennis coach, is currently facing charges for his involvement in secretly recording minors in various locations within Spring and Montgomery County. Additionally, he is accused of exposing himself to children.

37-year-old Shenandoah resident and former security guard Taylor Roy is now facing several felony charges, including invasive visual recording and indecency with a child by exposure.

After months of investigation by Montgomery County Constable Precinct 3’s Internet Crimes Against Children Division, they were able to make an arrest.

Detectives were able to identify Roy as the perpetrator by recognizing his face and security uniform in the recordings.

During the search of his home, investigators uncovered more incriminating videos. Furthermore, Roy’s wife, Tasha, confessed to her involvement in producing these recordings. In April 2024, both of them were charged with the felony offense of invasive visual recording.

After conducting a more thorough investigation, authorities decided to press an additional charge of indecency with a child by exposure against Roy in December 2024. As a result of these new accusations, Roy voluntarily turned himself in to law enforcement on January 4.

Roy, a tennis coach for children aged 8 to 17 in The Woodlands and Spring areas, is currently in custody on a $30,000 bond. His next court appearance is set for January 8th.

If you suspect that Roy might have recorded you or your children, please reach out to the Montgomery County Constable Precinct 3 office at 281-364-4211. Make sure to mention case #24E015260 when you contact them.
