A terrible instance of child sex abuse in Chester County has been resolved with a convicted rapist sentenced to prison last week.
Lucino Ochoa Mena, 41, was sentenced to 40 to 80 years in prison for raping a girl from the age of five to fourteen.
The backstory: According to officials, evidence has uncovered that OchoaMena engaged in sexual assault against the victim during their alone time, persisting for around 9 years.
“Thanks to the courage of a child and great work by investigators, this dangerous predator received a de facto life sentence,” West Chester Police Chief Joshua Lee said.
OchoaMena was found guilty of 14 criminal charges, including rape, after a 4-day trial in June 2024. On January 20, 2025, a judge handed down the sentencing.
