A woman, aged thirty-six, was pronounced dead at a Jackson hospital after a suspected assault.
The Jackson Police Department initiated an investigation into a potential homicide in the 3200 block of Sears Street on Friday, February 21st, at around 6:00 a.m.
A family member rushed thirty-six-year-old Amanda Harris to the hospital early in the morning after she became the victim of the incident.
According to Detective Tommie Brown, Harris was found dead when she arrived at the hospital. It appears that she had been physically assaulted, Brown stated.
