Authorities in Claiborne County are making significant progress in the investigation of a burglary case at the Nine Point Hunting Club, which occurred on February 15th.
Thanks to advanced tracking technology, the stolen property has been traced to several counties, allowing law enforcement to pinpoint a suspect.
The Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office received a report from Todd Boss, a club representative, stating that several valuable items were stolen. These items include a Yamaha side-by-side, a Honda four-wheeler, and a trailer.
The club’s use of Apple AirTags for tracking played a vital role in the recovery process. The AirTags sent signals that guided investigators to Jefferson County and Adams County, resulting in the retrieval of some stolen property.
Authorities were able to identify Fredrick Frisby as the primary suspect, thanks to crucial information provided by a witness.
Mr. Frisby was discovered at 6036 Joe Reed Road in Claiborne County.
Sheriff Goods thanked the local law enforcement agencies for their collaborative effort in solving the case.
Goods expressed his gratitude to Sheriff James Bailey, Sheriff Travis Patten, and Investigator Rusty for their steadfast support, which played a crucial role in the successful recovery of the stolen items.
Although the majority of the stolen items have been recovered, the trailer itself is still missing. Authorities are continuing their investigation and actively following up on leads in hopes of making additional arrests as the case progresses.
