A Galveston County Organized Crime Task Force search warrant executed at a residence in Crystal Beach resulted in the arrest of five individuals. The operation also led to the confiscation of methamphetamine, cocaine, and multiple firearms, one of which was a ‘ghost gun.’

The search warrant in the 1900 block of Avenue E in Crystal Beach was executed by the Galveston County Organized Crime Task Force on October 24th.

Detectives observed Garrett Griffin and Hilary Norris leaving the home before executing the search warrant. As a result, they conducted a traffic stop and discovered that Norris had a small quantity of methamphetamine in her possession.

During the execution of the search warrant, Michael Gutierrez, Glen Luckey, and Cecelia Heinrich were discovered in the residence by detectives. The search of the premises resulted in the discovery of 102 grams of methamphetamine, 1.06 grams of cocaine, and eight firearms. It was determined that one of the firearms was stolen, another had its serial number tampered with, and one was classified as a “Ghost Gun” due to the absence of a serial number.

The Galveston County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and they accepted the charges listed below:

Garret Griffin is facing charges related to the manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. Specifically, he is accused of being involved in the production and distribution of a controlled substance weighing between 4 grams and 200 grams. The bond set for Griffin’s release is $500,000.

Glen Luckey was arrested for his involvement in the manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. Specifically, he was charged with possession of a controlled substance, with a weight between 1 and 4 grams. The total bond set for this offense is $500,000.

Cecelia Heinrich has been charged with the manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance, specifically a controlled substance weighing equal to or more than 4 grams but less than 200 grams. The bond set for this charge is $230,000.

Hilary Norris was charged with possession of a controlled substance PG 1 <<>1G and was given a $60,000 bond.

Michael Gutierrez has a warrant for his arrest for the possession of a controlled substance. The charge is possession of a controlled substance PG 1, with a weight of 1 gram or more. The bond amount for this charge is set at $10,000.

The authorities confiscated all the evidence and then proceeded to transport the suspects to the Galveston County Jail.
