BIg Turnout For Ricky Teague Benefit at Brady Service Center

Despite the rain, Thursday's burger lunch fundraiser for Ricky Teague at the Brady Service Center was a great success as several in the community came out to show their support for the Teague family.  Cars began lining up at the Service Center shortly after 11AM and a steady stream of supporters continued until all of the burger lunches were sold at about 12:20PM. 

An army of about 20 city employees from various departments helped to prepare and distribute the lunches.  The event was sold out by 12:20PM with over 375 burger lunches purchased in the span of an hour and 20 minutes.  Estimates are that over $7,000 was raised to help support Ricky and his family with medical and travel expenses.
