Investigators have identified the human remains recovered at a Surprise trash last week as those of a Phoenix lady, but they have not released her name.
An employee discovered the woman’s body at WM’s Northwest Regional Landfill near 195th Avenue and Deer Valley Road shortly before 7 a.m. last Thursday, April 17. An inquiry commenced after identifying the remains as human.
The Maricopa County Office of the Medical Examiner collaborated with us to identify the body as that of a Phoenix lady. However, Surprise police will not reveal her name until they notify her family.
There have been no updates on the woman’s death or its reason.
