A Harrisonville woman expressed her shock and disbelief after winning the Big Money Scratchers.

A lucky ticket holder in Cass County has won the coveted top prize of $100,000.

“I never imagined winning $100,000,” she exclaimed. “As I scanned the ticket on the machine, I completely lost track of my surroundings. It was truly unbelievable!”

The champion wasted no time in rushing back home to share the exciting news with her loved ones. She is determined to utilize her well-deserved prize money to eliminate all her debts and achieve financial freedom.

The lucky winner bought her winning ticket at Ducky’s, located at 1901 E. Mechanic St. in Harrisonville.

Players of the $5 Big Money Scratchers have claimed over $4.8 million in prizes since the ticket was released on June 24. There are still four unclaimed top prizes of $100,000.

Cass County in Missouri had an impressive year in 2023, with a total of over $15.9 million in prizes won from the Missouri Lottery. Not only did the lucky winners benefit, but the retailers also received their share, with over $1.6 million in commissions and bonuses. Additionally, education programs in the county were supported by more than $4.9 million in Lottery proceeds. This demonstrates the positive impact that the Missouri Lottery has had on the community of Cass County.
