The Columbus Division of Police has confirmed Joshua Norfleet’s arrest in connection with the murder of Jehad Alzaben. On the night of May 25, officials responded to reports of a shooting in the 1600 block of E. Livingston Ave. Alzaben, 47, was discovered with gunshot wounds and later pronounced dead in a local hospital.
Columbus Police’s investigation resulted in the issuing of an arrest warrant for Norfleet, a 21-year-old suspect who was later apprehended in Coshocton County on Thursday, according to a social media post by the Columbus Division of Police. Although an arrest has been made, the investigation into the circumstances behind Alzaben’s death is ongoing.
