Another Name to the Animal Abuse Registry
We can add another name to the list of registered animal abusers in Upstate New York after a horrifying video showed a guy in Albany, New York, setting fire to a pitbull puppy a few weeks ago.
According to Albany Police, Christopher Maxwell, 34, of the Bronx, is facing animal cruelty charges after a dead dog was discovered inside a box at Fourth Avenue and Franklin Street in Albany on February 24.
According to the authorities, Maxwell starved the female pit bull puppy for days before bringing it to a parking lot in Albany, where Ring cameras captured the heinous event in the early morning hours of February 23.
According to the police report, “he took the dog, still in the crate, to a parking lot in the area of Fourth Avenue and Franklin Street, poured lighter fluid over the crate and the dog, and set it on fire.”
