A 41-year-old man is arrested following a months-long investigation after a minor reported they were solicited for sex.
Daniel Berkeley has been charged with indecent solicitation of a child.
On February 17, the Dixon Police Department received a report from a youngster who had been approached for sex. Follow-up interviews and a forensic investigation with the youngster resulted in an arrest warrant for Berkeley.
On May 8, Berkeley was arrested at the Winnebago County Courthouse and transported to the Lee County Jail.
He is set to make his first court appearance on May 14.
