On Christmas Day, an update was shared on the ‘Help Find Brandon Lawson’ Facebook page, where Ladessa, Lawson’s wife, along with the Lawson family, confirmed that the partial human remains found in February 2022 were indeed those of Brandon Lawson.
The post stated that DNA testing had verified the identification, and that the Texas Ranger handling the case had called a few days before Christmas to deliver the news to the family.
Lawson had been missing since August 9, 2013, near Bronte. Since then, his family has regularly provided updates on the Facebook page.
The family expressed gratitude for the love, prayers, and support they’ve received over the past 11 years.
