A 35-year-old man from Pinehurst, Texas, has been arrested for harassment, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Edwin Villata Ayala, a known gang member, was captured on February 15, 2025, after reportedly pursuing a female victim several times in the previous months.
Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office District 4 Patrol Division made the arrest, assisted by the Gang Investigation Unit. Ayala is presently being held at the Montgomery County Jail on a $5,000 bond and an ICE detainer, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
