Trump visits South Texas for SpaceX launch, grabs iconic Whataburger meal

This week, President-elect Donald Trump visited South Texas to witness SpaceX’s sixth Starship mega-rocket launch. No trip to Texas is complete without indulging in a Whataburger meal, even if your usual preference leans toward McDonald’s.

Trump experienced a taste of multi-planetary aspirations as Starship soared from Starbase in Brownsville, TX, on November 19. Ahead of his arrival, the U.S. Secret Service confirmed his attendance at the test flight, notifying Brownsville Police Department (BPD) on Sunday, November 17.

During the visit, BPD handled 70 service calls while also securing Trump’s iconic Texas meal. Photos shared by the department showed officers holding a carefully guarded Whataburger order, ready for delivery to Trump.

“I knew he couldn’t leave without a Whataburger! Lol! Awesome!” commented Belinda Martinez on a BPD post.

“That Whataburger meal was highly secured,” joked Jerry Aguilera.

“No Whataburger in Washington, huh? Haha,” added Pacto Flores BeTancourt.

Although officers didn’t reveal the details of Trump’s order, they confirmed it was enough to feed him and his team. Proud Texans saw the meal as proof of the state’s superior burger chain, taking a playful jab at its West Coast rival.

“So there you go, it’s Whataburger and not In-N-Out,” remarked Johnny Wifi.

While the specifics of Trump’s Whataburger selection remain a mystery, his meal further cemented the chain’s status as a Texas favorite. MySA has reached out to the Brownsville Whataburger location for more details.
