This week, 22-year-old Nathan Bridges was arrested and charged with child endangerment. Bridges is accused of beating a two-year-old boy and dropping him off at a friend’s house.
The two-year-old boy’s name is Jahsani. His father, Amirah Johnson, claims the little boy led a regular existence until the beginning of this month. He claimed Jahsani enjoys playing and spending time with his cousins.
“He has, like, a laid-back personality,” Johnson stated. “Sweet soul.”
Johnson stated that Jahsani’s injuries had put him in serious condition.
“He had brain injuries, bleeding from the brain, a fractured jaw, a fractured spine, and bruises all over his body,” Johnson informed us.
Jahsani has been rehabilitating at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
“He is getting better. He’s improving by the day. He was in the ICU, but they got him out. He has been in stable condition.” Johnson clarified that they are closely monitoring him to ensure his recovery proceeds smoothly.
According to Johnson, Jahsani is rediscovering himself.
“Despite the discomfort, he still smiles. “He’s still fighting,” Johnson added.
Johnson said he doesn’t understand why anyone would harm his son.
“I don’t see why someone would want to harm him.” He’s an innocent little kid,” he explained.
He hopes Bridges is held accountable.
“It’s the worst, last thing you want to imagine,” Johnson added.
