On Friday afternoon, three suspects robbed an armored car at gunpoint in south suburban Cook County.
The FBI said that the robbery took place around 4:25 p.m. at 11960 Western Avenue in Blue Island.
We identified the three suspects as Black males in their late teens to mid-20s. They dressed in dark sweatpants and hooded sweatshirts, with black facial coverings and light gray gloves. In addition, they possessed handguns.
There were no reported injuries.
The suspects escaped in their car. The FBI stated they were still at large on Saturday.
The contents of the armored truck remained unclear.
