A man was fatally shot Friday, July 4, in the 900 block of Cooper Road, prompting a homicide investigation by the Jackson Police Department (JPD).
The victim, 23-year-old Gabriel King, was found shot and pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed that his next of kin have been notified.
On July 5, police arrested four suspects in connection with the incident — two adults and two juveniles.
