A man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his infant child.
On Thursday, January 30, 2025, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s office responded to a report of an attack at an apartment complex in the 14300 block of Ella Boulevard. Child Protective Services informed the deputies upon their arrival that an infant had suffered physical harm.
Investigators discovered that the child’s father, 29-year-old Ezequiel Perez, struck the kid several times, producing pain and apparent injuries that necessitated medical treatment.
Charges of injury to a child led to Perez’s arrest and placement in the Harris County Jail. His bond has not yet been set by the 183rd District Court.
