On February 20, 2025, Constable Mark Herman’s Office made a traffic stop in Humble that led to the apprehension of two individuals. The stop also resulted in the discovery and confiscation of a significant amount of drugs, cash, and stolen firearms, which included a duty weapon belonging to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).
During a traffic stop on Woodland Hills Drive in Humble, TX, deputies detected the distinct smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. After conducting a thorough search, they discovered Carisoprodol, Alprazolam, and Hydrocodone.
The driver, Larry Wiley, who is 48 years old, was discovered to be on parole for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Meanwhile, the passenger, Markesha Ross, aged 35, was also identified.
Deputies executed a search warrant at their residence on Drummond Maple Drive in Atascocita, specifically in the 12100 block. During the search, the following items were seized:

- 1,781.3 grams of Hydrocodone
- 46.3 grams of Oxycodone
- 3 sealed 100-count bottles of Alprazolam
- 102.4 grams of Adderall
- 27.65 ounces of marijuana
- 138.9 grams of Soma
- $19,726 in U.S. currency
- Three stolen firearms, including a stolen HCSO duty weapon.
