ICE Arrests Three Venezuelans In Texas, Including Two Individuals Connected To Gang

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement authorities captured three Venezuelan nationals who were illegally present in Texas.

According to a press announcement, Javier Irazabal-Rodriguez, 27, Jhonatan Johan Romero-Pineda, 34, and Uzcategui-Uzcategui, 27 (first name not disclosed), were captured in El Paso on January 28.

On May 13, 2024, a court convicted Irazabal-Rodriguez, 27, of sexual abuse against a child. The court sentenced him to ten years of probation. He has been released under surveillance.

Romero-Pineda, 34, and Uzcategui-Uzcategui, 27, are still in ICE detention. They have been identified as active associates of the Tren de Aragua transnational criminal organization, which President Donald Trump labeled as a foreign terrorist organization by an executive order on January 20.
