According to the Office of Constable Mark Herman, a driver in Houston, Texas, was arrested for allegedly assaulting another customer in a Taco Bell drive-thru line. The driver’s impatience led to this unfortunate incident.
On February 20, 2025, a troubling incident took place at the Taco Bell situated at 19400 North Freeway.
Deputies responded to a disturbance in which Shaneah Thompson, who was identified as the culprit, allegedly honked her horn excessively and accosted the car ahead of her. Thompson allegedly yelled racial comments and punched the victim twice in the chest with his clenched fist. She is also suspected of hitting the victim’s left quarter panel, which caused damage to the vehicle.
In a desperate attempt to seek help, the victim tried to call 911, but Thompson reportedly snatched away the phone.
Thompson was later located by the deputies, who found out that she had open warrants from the Southside Police Department.
According to Constable Mark Herman, Shaneah Thompson has been taken into custody and is currently being held at the Harris County Jail. She is facing charges of Assault and Interfering with 911. Charges of Criminal Mischief will be pursued once video evidence is obtained. As of now, there is no information available regarding her bond and court proceedings.
