The Biden administration has complied with a court order that prohibits the sale of deteriorating sections of border wall material, which were left unused by the previous president. This information was disclosed by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on Friday.

In a statement, Paxton proudly stated that they have effectively halted the Biden Administration from getting rid of any additional border wall materials until President Trump assumes office.

“We have achieved a significant triumph in compelling Biden to construct the wall, and we will ensure that his Administration faces consequences for unlawfully undermining our country’s border security until the end of their tenure. This is particularly crucial when their actions are evidently driven by a goal to obstruct President-elect Trump’s immigration objectives,” he emphasized.

Paxton and Trump both filed a request for a hearing in the federal court of the Southern District of Texas after a shocking report surfaced. The report claimed that unused slats meant for the southern border wall were being covertly transported and sold off in auctions for as little as $5.

The Texas attorney general’s office has announced that the court order will prevent the Biden administration from getting rid of any additional border wall materials for the next 30 days. This order is enforceable in case of any violations.

The Biden administration must provide Texas with documentation proving that it has not violated a court ruling from May 2024, which mandates the use of statutorily obligated funds for border wall construction.

The office of the Texas Attorney General stated that if it is proven that the Biden Administration got rid of border wall materials that were purchased using funds that were supposed to be subject to the injunction, in violation of a court order, or if the Department of Justice provided misleading information about the border materials that have been auctioned off, it would be considered unethical and sanctionable conduct. The responsible parties could potentially face contempt of court charges.

Earlier this month, The Daily Wire obtained concerning footage revealing the sight of numerous flatbed trucks transporting sections of the steel wall near Tucson, Arizona. This specific location is known for being a hot spot for illegal border crossings.

According to a Border Patrol agent, the footage captured shows that approximately half a mile’s worth of parts are being removed on a daily basis, with the aim of clearing the area completely by Christmas.

According to reports, the materials were being sold on GovPlanet, an online auction house that specializes in military surplus. They were listed as “Steel Bollard Wall Sections w/Grout.”

President Biden’s decision to halt the construction of the wall and reverse Trump’s immigration policies in 2021 resulted in the materials being left unused.

In a recent development, Trump has leveled serious allegations against Biden, claiming that he has engaged in an “almost criminal act” by selling off portions of the border wall. This accusation has sparked controversy and raised questions about the legality and implications of such actions.

“I urge Joe Biden to cease the sale of the wall,” stated the president-elect during a press conference held at Mar-a-Lago. “We intend to utilize it as a robust barrier.”

He added that the price of the item has significantly increased over the past six years, making it very expensive. The administration is now attempting to sell it at a fraction of its original cost, which is five cents on the dollar. He also mentioned that they are aware of the upcoming sale.
