Amanda Dawn Everly, 51, a resident of the Jefferson County area in Fenton, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for drug-related offenses and probation violations, according to court records.

On November 26, Jefferson County Circuit Judge Brenda Stacey issued the sentence, addressing charges stemming from arrests in 2022 and 2023. Judge Stacey also revoked Everly’s probation from 2021, which she received after pleading guilty to a prior drug charge, court documents revealed.

Everly entered a guilty plea on August 29 to multiple charges, including second-degree drug trafficking, two counts of controlled substance possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a revoked license, driving without insurance, failure to maintain a single lane, and driving with expired license plates. While the drug trafficking and possession charges were classified as felonies, the drug paraphernalia and traffic violations were misdemeanors, court records indicated.

Judge Stacey imposed a 10-year prison sentence for the trafficking and each possession charge, 180 days in jail for the paraphernalia charge, and an additional 180 days for driving with expired license plates. For failing to maintain a single lane, Everly received a 15-day jail sentence, along with $150 fines for both driving with a revoked license and driving without insurance. However, these sentences will run concurrently, meaning Everly will serve a total of 10 years, court documents confirmed.

The judge also revoked Everly’s probation from a 2021 drug possession case. At that time, she had been sentenced to five years in prison, which was suspended in favor of a five-year probation period. Following this revocation, Everly must now serve the five-year sentence consecutively with her new 10-year sentence, bringing her total prison term to 15 years.

The charges for trafficking, drug possession, and paraphernalia possession originated from a traffic stop in November 2022 near a Walmart on Ridge Point Drive in High Ridge. During the stop, a Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputy discovered methamphetamine, 42 heroin-laced pill capsules, marijuana, and a glass pipe with residue in Everly’s possession, as detailed in a probable-cause statement.
