Few institutions are more revered in Houston than the H-E-B grocery chain. In Texas, it’s crucial to avoid interfering with your local H-E-B.
A man in northwest Houston learned this lesson the hard way.
Last night, Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman detained a man accused of stealing from an H-E-B store at 5251 FM-2920 Road in Klein.
The individual was accused of attempting to steal $2,850.50 from the business. Authorities shared a photo of the recovered items, which largely consisted of makeup and beauty products.
Surprisingly, the man in jail was also found to have an outstanding warrant for sexual assault in Ohio, as well as a probation violation for larceny.
