LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A fatal crash early Saturday morning in South St. Louis County claimed one life.
St. Louis County Police reported that the accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on South Lindbergh Boulevard near Interstate 55. The victim, an unidentified man, was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to police, the man was driving east on Lindbergh when his vehicle veered off the road, hit a concrete light pole, and overturned, trapping him inside.
Authorities stated that the investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
