According to the Clearfield County district attorney’s office, one man is facing many charges, including a felony, after a months-long investigation revealed he was in possession of six bricks of heroin, which he intended to sell in the DuBois area.
Patrick O’Brien, 41, was arrested on Friday after a search warrant was executed at a home on Carson Avenue in Sandy Township, revealing six bricks of heroin and more than 300 stamp packs.
According to the district attorney, the successful months-long investigation was made possible by anonymous information submitted through the Clearfield County Crime Stoppers tip line.
According to online court records, O’Brien is charged with one felony count of manufacturing, delivery, or possession with intent to make or deliver; one count of possession of a controlled substance; and one count of possessing drug paraphernalia.
According to court records, O’Brien is now being held at Clearfield County Prison and has a preliminary hearing planned on March 21.
