Houston, Texas – A 22-year-old Texas man, identified as Anthonio, has been arrested and charged with murder following the death of his 37-year-old uncle, Josse, last week. Authorities revealed that Anthonio admitted to killing his uncle, claiming the victim’s treatment toward him made him feel unwelcome and unloved. He is currently being held on a $200,000 bond.

The tragic incident took place on Friday. According to police, Anthonio went to his uncle’s home and fatally shot him while they were alone. At the time of the shooting, the victim’s wife and children were not present. The crime came to light when the victim’s wife returned home to find her husband dead. Prior to arriving, she had tried to call him, but he did not answer.

Concerned, the wife contacted her mother-in-law, who picked up the children from school and accompanied them back home, only to discover the horrific scene. Investigators later learned that Josse and his wife had raised Anthonio as their own son for several years. Despite this, the defendant claimed he felt neglected and unloved, which reportedly led to the shooting.

The victim’s wife told authorities that Anthonio struggled with anger management issues. Despite his challenges, she said they treated him like a son. Meanwhile, Anthonio’s attorney emphasized that his client, although accused, remains innocent until proven guilty. His next court appearance is scheduled for January 28.
