According to NBCDFW, Rogelio “Christopher” Gonzales is wanted for child sexual abuse charges dating back to 2012.
Gonzales is currently in custody and will face charges in Johnson and Tarrant counties.
How Was the Suspect Found?
The particular method by which law police located Gonzales is unclear, however he was recently detained after being discovered to be living and working as a dive instructor in Cozumel.
As you might imagine from a case that had been ongoing for so long, law enforcement was relieved to finally apprehend Gonzales.
He is now in detention at the Johnson County Law Enforcement Center on a $1 million bond, but just for the Johnson County accusations.
Gonzales is also required to post a $50,000 bond for the charges in Tarrant County.
