According to Pennsylvania’s attorney general, a felon with multiple firearms and tens of thousands of fentanyl dosages was apprehended in Clairton.
Ismail Hamlin, 28, was arrested at his residence when officers discovered hundreds of bricks of fentanyl, three assault weapons, two handguns, a Glock switch, a considerable amount of ammunition, and about $20,000 in cash.
Hamlin is in jail without bond, charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanors.
“This arrest is a testament to the value of law enforcement agencies working together to remove dangerous drug traffickers, and the poisons they distribute, from Pennsylvania communities,” Attorney General Dave Sunday said. “I commend the officers who collaborated to seize the illegally possessed firearms and ammunition, and enough fentanyl doses to inflict widespread devastation.”
