A SWAT team early Thursday morning arrested a man wanted for aggravated robbery with a lethal weapon who, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, has ties to MS-13.
The incident occurred on Redding Road, near S. Gessner Road and the Southwest Freeway in southwest Houston.
HCSO Lt. Bryan Buccini stated that when the SWAT team arrived, two guys departed the home, but a search with drones and robots revealed that a third man was hidden inside.
“Chemical munitions were deployed and he surrendered peacefully,” Buccini said in a post on X.
Buccini stated that the third man was evaluated by the Houston Fire Department, and the scene was turned over to investigators from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit.
HCSO did not reveal the suspect’s identification.
