A masked stranger viciously stabbed a man all over his body while riding the 1 subway through Manhattan, officials said Wednesday, as they published images of the culprit.
On the morning of January 1, the 30-year-old victim was on a southbound train nearing the Cathedral Parkway-110th Street station in Morningside Heights when he was attacked by the man in the middle of the journey.
The offender approached the victim and stabbed him “multiple times throughout the body” with an unknown weapon, police added.
EMS transported the man, who had lacerations all over his body, to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition.
Since then, no one has seen the attacker.
Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
