A Mississippi woman is behind bars on a $2 million bond, accused of fatally shooting another woman in broad daylight.
Ashley Kuante Gray, 34, of Lee County, has been charged with the murder of Iesha Listenbee, also 34. According to the Verona Police Department, the deadly incident occurred Sunday afternoon, July 6, outside Listenbee’s home on Arizona Drive.
Authorities allege Gray shot Listenbee in front of the residence before being taken into custody shortly after the incident. She was formally charged with murder and booked into jail.
The case remains under active investigation by the Verona Police Department.
