A man accused of sexually battering a teenage girl at a movie theater in Ocala will serve 15 years in jail.
Last week, Augusta Williams, 34, was sentenced after a jury found him guilty of lewd or lascivious battery on a child aged 12 to 16.
The charges come from his arrest in 2023. A teen girl informed police that she was waiting to be picked up from the Regal Hollywood Theater in Ocala when Williams, an armed security guard, raped her.
According to security camera footage, Williams led the victim into an empty theater before exiting approximately 20 minutes later.
