Many schools in Pennsylvania are facing delays or closures on Wednesday, February 12, because of bad weather conditions.
Numerous districts and institutions in Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware, Chester, and Philadelphia counties have declared adjusted timetables for the day.
Several school districts in Montgomery County, including Abington, Cheltenham, Hatboro-Horsham, North Penn, and Perkiomen Valley, as well as Neshaminy and Bensalem Township in Bucks County, will have a delayed opening of two hours.
The Philadelphia School District and several charter schools in the city are also implementing a two-hour delay.
Several schools, such as the Jenkintown School District, Norristown Area School District, Pathway School, and Russell Byers Charter School, have chosen virtual learning as their mode of education.
The Independence Charter School West, SE Delco School District, and Pennsylvania Institute of Technology have also decided to conduct fully remote classes for the day.
Some schools and institutions, including DEC – Willow Grove, Prep Charter High School, and William Penn School District, have made the decision to close entirely.
